Hello :)
This week has been met with immense stress as Hx mental health crops up and life comes at me. Really trying to roll with the punches (the plethora of them);
- did some buddyriding with Karbear!
- tried "forcing tulips in water" (http://www.sandandsisal.com/2013/02/how-to-force-tulip-bulbs-in-water_19.html)
- wrote some poetry
- did some mindfulness.
NCLEX studying is like a long-term panic attack (which I have unfortunately experienced). It's like a sense of impending doom, but not knowing when things may blow up. It seems like a crummy way of looking at things... and this week has been really difficult for my anxiety, including hypervigilance, social anxiety, IBS, and food anxiety. I have been able to crush post-partum, moderately understand endocrine and respiratory, as well as plugging away at GI. Nurses have a lot of actions, let me tell you! I completed Uworld assessment 1, despite already having used many uworld questions for studying, and got this bad boy:

Please tell me how getting 54.7% makes a "high" pass rate... The nature of the NCLEX beast ...? Neveretheless, I guess I am proud of it, more so than my practice exam mark -_-

I am hoping for a few things:
1. less epinephrine running through my body, feels like I have pheochromocytoma's (adrenal gland pun).
2. Study discussion about endocrine + postpartum + respiratory + GI (and willing to hear your learnings!)
3. Receive inspirational words via tangible mail to go into my wall of motivation, to be opened on the dates indicated :) hint hint family
Tonight I hope to finish up GI and make a summary sheet (which I can post)...check on my tulips...make some fish...maybe knit at a pub while watching the sens kick butt.
Please share some positive energy and love <3
